MARISA KAROUTSOS

Program Coordinator

Marisa has been a certified Vinyasa Flow instructor since 2016. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Yoga in Common in Myrtle Beach, SC under Jo Ducey.

As a former dancer and musical theatre major, movement has always been an important part of Marisa’s physical and emotional well-being. She loves creating challenging but inclusive flows that anyone can enjoy, no matter what level one’s yoga practice is at. When she isn’t working or teaching, Marisa loves being with her family, dabbling in photography, and is a paranormal enthusiast who loves capturing the occasional ghostly activity.

She truly believes in the healing powers of a consistent yoga practice and wants to encourage everyone of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds to get on their mat! She can’t wait to see you in class.

BETHANY MILFORD

Bethany became a certified yoga instructor in 2022 after completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at YoBa Studio in Raleigh, NC under Sam Williams Stilwell.

From both her international upbringing and education, Bethany developed a passion for communications and a deep understanding of the importance of community. While completing her undergraduate studies at UNC Wilmington, she was first introduced to yoga and the power of breath in movement. Her curiosity and love for the practice have since been reinforced throughout her public health career, where she continues to see yoga truly transforming people’s health and well-being. Outside of teaching, you’ll likely find Bethany running anywhere near water, fueling her inner foodie with family and friends, and exploring her curiosities like brewing kombucha!

Among the many benefits of yoga, Bethany appreciates the accessibility of the practice and its ability to cultivate the strong sense of community that so many of us crave. While she enjoys incorporating strength and power in flows, she keeps all levels in mind and is there to support everyone’s unique practice. She’s excited to roll out her mat with you and get moving!

TAYLOR LIMA

Taylor is a 200 hour RYT and a high school counselor. She discovered yoga in her early years of college. She loved the benefits of the physical practice, but also found that the combination of breath work and mindful movement helped her cope with the daily stressors and feelings in life. She felt led to learn more about the yoga lifestyle and share the many benefits with others.

Taylor’s goal is to provide a safe space for everyone to flow freely, release unwanted tension, and connect with their body and mind.
